Dear Leadership Conference Attendees,
Thanks to everyone who put so much time and attention into making this our most successful conference ever. I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I did.
What impressed you the most? And, what would you like to see more of or less of durring next year’s conference? Lastly, what would you love to see presented or introduced from a content perspective that we’ve never done before? Any new topics, issues, or trainings? Remember, we have the whole Marriott School at our disposal. Lots of smart people to draw from.
Go ahead and reply to this post while your experience is fresh and let’s start some discussion.

This was my first BYU MS Leadership conference. And I plan on it being the first of many. I was impressed right off the bat with the organization and scheduling of the event. I was also impressed to see the value that our international peers put on the conference by making the effort to attend. I would like to see more time to get to know the other participants from across the globe, either a second day of scheduled events or a longer time for the first networking event. I would also like to see best practices and/or new ideas about new member acquisition and retention. In coming years I think the discussion of social media and young professionals should increasingly fill more of the schedule.
I liked the combination of cutting-edge business skills training, best practices for BYU Management Society chapter leaders and the moral and ethical principles that should guide us in all that we do in business and else where.
Personally, my vote would be to allocate more time for networking and time for the participants to exchange ideas. I also think the keynote speakers should always be – like they were this time – “big picture – based on our vision.
