Tuesday of this week, all BYU Alumni received an email regarding the new online Job Search program. However, it is important to note that you do not have to be an alumnus to use this service. This program allows individuals to create a detailed profile and take an assessment test that will rate them in various areas of interest to employers.
This service is of great value to employers because they can prescreen applicants much more efficiently and accurately than without such a program. The cost to the employer is far below market rates for this type of service and is free to the employee. I believe we need to market this to our members and prospective members as another benefit of membership.

The following assessment is an integral part of the ApplicantSearch TM
system. These instructions were part of the registration process that you
just went through. We are providing an additional copy of the instructions
below in case you didn’t have the time to complete the assessment at the
time you created your profile.This is an assessment designed to help you and your prospective employers
measure your “fit” for specific jobs in specific settings. If you fit your
job, as the assessment measures it, you will be more likely to perform

1. Go to http://www.ProfilesOnTheWeb.com
2. Click “Self Registration” from the left navigation menu.
3. Enter your Authorizing ID and Authorization Code in the boxes in the
center of the page. Note: codes are case sensitive.

4. Click “continue”. This will take you to the Self-registration page.

Use the username and password from above.
Click on “My Schedule”. Click on “Begin/Resume” and you will be taken to
