Align with BYU and the Marriott School means that BYU Management Society members support a culture where chapters are aligned with the mission of BYU and the Marriott School. The following are some of the steering committee’s thoughts in regards to this cultural belief and how it might be measured. Please share with us your thoughts, examples of what this means, and how we might measure our progress in this regard.
- Individual chapters are made stronger through their connection to the BYU and Marriott School brand. Both BYU and the Marriott School are known and respected worldwide; a strong association with the school elevates local chapter efforts to a recognized and valued global level.
- Examples:
- Chapters should purposely focus on getting mileage and recognition from their BYU connection through their name, letterhead, and marketing material.
- Chapters are strongly encouraged to build on the name and reputation of BYU, thus strengthening the world-wide association.
